Before the sun comes up, the coffee is brewing, the kitchen is coming to life, and another day begins. That's been our rhythm for years. After more than 30 years in the restaurant business, our family opened Sunrise Cafe with a simple idea: create a place where people would want to begin their day, then earn the privilege of seeing them come back again and again.
Morning after morning, pancakes leave the kitchen alongside plates of chilaquiles, regulars settle into familiar seats, and travelers just off Highway 101 discover why many consider us the best breakfast in Paso Robles. Those everyday moments have shaped who we are far more than any trend ever could.
We're proud to have earned multiple San Luis Obispo County Awards of Excellence, but the recognition we value most can't be displayed on a wall. It's the familiar faces who stop in before work, the families who return on weekends, and the first-time visitors who decide their next trip through our neighborhood should include another day with us.
